Description of Auxiliary Machines

What are Auxiliary Machines?

Auxiliary machines are machines or equipment which are not directly related to the mixing system or process but are essential in aiding the process. These machines or equipment provide supplementary or additional support in making the process flow more efficient which in turn produce high-quality end products.

Ginhong manufactures several auxiliary machines such as the RO Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System, LS Air Cooled Water Chiller, GL Oil/Gas Steam Boiler and GL Electric Steam Boiler.

Quality Control of Auxiliary Machines

Ginhong manufactures products complying with Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) regulations enforced by the FDA. CGMP is vital for quality control of manufacturing plants as it entails proper design, monitoring, and control of manufacturing processes and procedures.

Adherence to the CGMP regulations assures the identity, strength, and quality of manufacturing operations.

Tap water in its natural state contains many impurities and minerals such as chloramines, nitrate, phosphate, silicates, and other algal nutrients. This may cause harm on machine surfaces or cause unwanted chemical reaction to the ingredients being mixed. In addition, this water with impurities may also cause the early degradation of the boiler as it causes scaling and fouling. It is common in industrial systems that the water circulating it should be pure - meaning it should not contain impurities and unwanted minerals.

With this regard, Ginhong RO Reverse Osmosis System is engineered and manufactured to purify water going in and out of the system ensuring high-quality water is being circulated in the system.

How it Works

As the name implies, the Reverse Osmosis System cleans the water removing 90-99% of the contaminants by the principle of Reverse Osmosis. Reverse Osmosis is the process by which water is purified by passing it through a semi-permeable or a sponge-like membrane with a diameter of one ten-thousandth of a micron. It then separates impurities, ions, microbes and colloids in the water, meeting the sanitary water requirements of cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries.

Advantages /Benefits

Ginhong RO Reverse Osmosis System not only solves the troubles of frequent regeneration and sanitation, but also reduces system downtimes, promoting production uptimes and saves a lot of worries.

Cooling systems can be used to lower down temperature of the product after mixing, depending upon the desired temperature of the product. The LS Air cooled water chiller can accurately control the temperature, thus leading to efficient process of the system.

The LS Air cooled water chiller is one of the industrial chillers, manufactured to be used in lower temperatures of machines, components, products and processes.

How it Works

The air-cooled water chiller works basically by cooling circulating water by a refrigerant. The heat exchange between the water and the refrigerant occurs in a closed- loop system. In this setup, the water, being chilled by the refrigerant, goes into the product to cool it to the desired temperature, and then loops back into the refrigerant to be cooled again. Thus, the refrigerant, with its properties optimal for heat absorption, removes heat to the system out to the environment, using movement of air which is utilized by the cooler’s fans.

The components in the system being utilized are: The compressor, used to compress the vaporized refrigerant, the condenser, where the refrigerant gives off heat to the surroundings, the expansion valve, and the evaporator, where the refrigerant takes heat from the heated water.

The refrigerant flows first to the compressor to increase its pressure. Then it flows through the condenser, where the refrigerant turns into liquid from vapor, giving off heat in as it liquifies. After which, the refrigerant then goes through the expansion valve, lowering its pressure. Finally, the refrigerant goes to the evaporator. This is where heat is absorbed by the refrigerant, causing it to be turned into vapor. The vaporized refrigerant goes back to the compressor to restart the cycle.

The mixing cooler operates according to the principle of an evaporative unit. The hot exhausted mixture flowing into the cooler is moistened and cooled by the outdoor heat of vaporization. The cooling process is intensified by a continuous mixing and blowing of the air, which removes water vapor. The air also serves as a coolant.

The air-cooled chillers are highly important to many industries. Aside from industrial mixing systems, they are also widely used in these industries: metalworking; mechanical engineering, namely, injection and blow-molding tools, welding machines, die-casting tools, and robotic machinery; electrical and electronics, such as power supplies and power generating stations; cosmetics, medical and pharmaceutical, food & beverage, textile, paper, and construction such as cement processors.

The application of heat is needed in almost all industrial processes in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetic industries. For example, milk and juice products must go through a pasteurizing process where they are heated to a particular temperature to guarantee the destruction of germs. In most industrial set-up, a steam boiler is used for the production of sufficient heat. Ginhong provides a variety of boilers to choose from, be it a Steam Boiler running on oil or gas or a Steam Boiler running on electricity. These steam boilers provide the sufficient amount of heat through a steam jacket surrounding the mixing tank. Gas or diesel oil is used to power the boiler that produces steam, traveling through the pipes into the surrounding area of the mixing vessel. Based on your thermal needs, Ginhong determines the right GL Oil/Gas/Electric Steam Boiler system for your process application whether it will be used in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical or cosmetic industry. How it Works Water at atmospheric pressure is initially contained in a water tank. A boiler feedwater pump pumps the water at high pressure into the boiler. The water will then be passed through a series of tubes inside the boiler and heat will be applied to these tubes up until the water evaporates producing steam at high pressure. The steam initially collects in an area above the boiler before exiting the boiler. The dome forces the steam to become highly condensed so that it will exit the boiler with a significant amount of pressure. Ginhong steam boilers are also equipped with a safety valve, which allows excess steam to be released to prevent explosions. Their steam boilers also contain a drain, which removes contaminants and sediment.
